Terms & Conditions
Client accepts the following terms & conditions upon working with Reed & Co on any project
Reed & Co. will provide video filming, editing, and distribution services as agreed upon in the project proposal. This may include pre-production planning, on-site filming, post-production editing, and distribution as per the Client's requirements.
Reed & Co.'s liability for any claim, loss, damage, or expense arising out of its services will be limited to the amount paid by the Client for those services. Reed & Co. will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or missed opportunities.
Travel is charged at 0.92c per KM + $50p/h of travel time unless included within a clearly defined package/bundle. For example; many of our Real Estate Bundles include travel for up to 60km from Central Wanaka (including travel time), after which travel costs are added on top if required per project.
Licensed music for all projects is cleared to be used commercially and for advertising purposes by all of Reed & Co.'s clients. Distribution of licensed music or content containing licensed music may not exceed the likes of social media, websites and online. Television, radio communications and any other external means of distribution must first be cleared for use through Reed & Co.
No raw photo or video content/media is to be supplied unless agreed upon between the client and Reed & Co. in written form, prior to the project taking place. Raw media is not required to be kept in storage by Reed & Co. after the project has been deemed completed through the payment of an invoice.
All content produced, shot or edited by Reed & Co. remains the property of Reed & Co. indefinitely and may be distributed elsewhere without notification to the client. Exclusive rights and/or ownership of media can be obtained prior to projects taking place and there are additional costs for this per project.
Changes and revisions to projects are not required to be supplied by Reed & Co. after the project has been deemed completed through the payment of the project invoice.
Bookings cancelled less than 12 hours before the booking time will be charged a $120 (incl GST) cancellation fee. Bookings cancelled 4 hours or less, prior to the booking start time will be charged 50% of the booking cost. This fee may be less or removed if the booking is rescheduled.
Reed & Co. guarantees that all content will be original and free from copyright infringement. The Client assures that any materials provided for incorporation into the content are either owned by the Client or the Client has received proper permissions for their use.
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Reed & Co. from any claims, damages, or lawsuits arising from content that is based on materials provided by the Client.
Invoices are to be paid on or prior to the due date. Failure to do so may result in additional fees for late payment.
